ITV and freesat are investigating the ITV HD broadcast on Thursday night 17/07/08 of the first ITV drama broadcast in high definition exclusively on freesat. The programme Harley Street was broadcast in HD but was not available to the new ITV regions which were only added after a long delay to the freesat EPG on Tuesday [...] As promised by freesat the outstanding BBC and ITV regions and ITV+1 have now been made available on the freesat EPG from today 15/07/08. Not all the regional variants of BBC and ITV services were available at launch. This was due to technical constraints associated with co-existence on the satellite platform, so freesat adopted a phased [...] freesat are now advising the remaining ITV and BBC regions currently absent from the freesat EPG will be available by the end of July. freesat initially said they would be available by the end of June so we will have to wait and see if this new claim materialises. NB if your default region is not available [...] freesatadvice has today learnt that the remaining ITV regions will be added to freesat EPG by end of June, this is despite rumours circulating on the internet that there is a “problem” with adding the remaining regions, apparently there was an issue when freesat first launched which would have caused problems to other functions on [...] For those missing their local/regional programming from the EPG at launch it was confirmed today that the remaining 28 regional services have been prioritised for launch between the end of May and the end of June.
