The LF7700 series is the first from LG to have a freesat HD via satellite built in as well as Freeview, with freesat HD you will be able to watch all your favourite programs from the BBC and ITV in stunning high definition with over five times the clarity you are used to all for free.
The 32LF7700 was launched in the UK in May 2009 and is a full 1080p HD TV and comes with 3 HDMI inputs and USB 2.0 inputs to allow streaming mp3 and Jpeg from an external source. Attaching a Blu Ray or a Playstation 3 or HD Xbox will bring movies and games to life like never before.
Also included is component input, PC input and optical digital audio out ideal for those with a home cinema set up. The 32LF7700 also contains the company’s invisible speaker system so as not to distract from the slim bezel around the screen as well as two SCART sockets to connect other AV equipment.
As part of the freesat standard all freesat the 32LF7700 comes with an Ethernet input to allow for future internet services most notably BBC iplayer which will hopefully will be available later this year. The LG comes with an 8 day EPG for freesat, parental controls and all the usual freesat standard features.
Also included is LG’s Intelligent Sensor II technology optimises the picture for the ambient light conditions and LG claims uses less than 69.5% less power than a standard TV. The 32LF7700 uses less than 0.5 watts in standby.
Dynamic contrast is quoted at 50,000:1 with 24p Real Cinema and SRS TruSurround XT and the 32LF7700 only weighs 11.5 kg so is ideal for wall mounting.
As well as high definition you will also be able to access over 140 standard definition channels (and growing) which are up-scaled to near high definition also included in the 32LF7700 is a Freeview tuner as well so this is ideal for any channel (which is not many) that you will not find on freesat or if you do not have a satellite dish but plan to in the future.
